Early Learning with ReAnna

Greetings, everyone! My name is ReAnna, and I am excited to serve as the lead teacher for our Preschool-Pre-K class.

With over three years of experience in childcare, I am dedicated to enhancing my education to better support the children in my care. Currently, I am pursuing an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education at Ivy Tech Community College. Additionally, I have taken courses through Purdue University and the Indiana Afterschool Network, and I have completed training in classroom structure and environment.

My primary goal is to foster the holistic development of each child. The curriculums I have selected for this class are designed to support this mission, offering excellent resources for both teachers and families.

Another key focus of our program is the importance of social-emotional learning. I believe that helping children develop strong emotional intelligence is crucial for their success both in and out of the classroom. By incorporating activities that promote empathy, cooperation, and self-regulation, we create a safe and nurturing environment where children can express their feelings and build meaningful relationships with their peers. This foundation not only enhances their learning experience but also equips them with essential life skills.
